Gone are the day days when I had to bitch and moan about my impoverished hit
count and beg you bastards for a link exchange. I am getting hundreds of hits
a day now. And it came from months of deliberately writing content that I thought
would rank highly in the search engines. Columns such as "Featured Spam,"
"Website Reviews," and "Take That! You Jerks," though real
columns, were conceived as a plan to draw hits. Writing personal essays got me
completely nowhere. You people are perverse, mindless fools. You spend your time
typing in vulgar words and phrases into the search engines. This is the type of
pathetic human beings you are, you dumb, mindless masses you. I'm just giving
you morons what you want. Why should I waste my time writing a movie or a book
review when what you idiots are really looking for is masturbation information.
My next milestone is 1000 hits a day. I'm optimistic that I can reach this goal.
Hopefully sooner than later.
I'm using Cascading Style Sheets now. This is an effort to make the pages
more consistent, smaller, and easier to write and maintain. Hopefully I'll
find the time to convert the older pages to the new format.
The web site is getting too big for its current layout. Hopefully in a few
months I'll switch to using frames and have a pop-up menu for section categories.
There's a very good chance that I'll go commercial, if and when my hit count
makes this sort of thing viable. I never started out with the idea of trying
to make money off this web site. Nobody was interested in the kind of stuff
I wanted to write though. So what the fuck is the point?
